BoatAs an integral part of this website we are looking to recruit 'Registered Members' who would be prepared to offer advice and guidance to new rescue team members.

The idea is to help rescue team members to broaden the necessary skill-sets they are going to need to carry out their role within their own rescue teams.

Building on the community aspect of the Maritime Rescue website, we think that to be able to help other team members from various parts of the world, is as important as helping a stranger in distress on your 'patch'. After all it's them who are going to be 'watching your back' in sometimes serious situations and knowing that they can cope with the demands placed on them, will take some of the stress out of the rescue!

As a Rescue Mentor, you will be able to assist fellow rescue personnel within your own field of expertise.
You never know, you might learn something too!

If you are interested in volunteering for this role, in the first instance, please contact the SAR Team Leader
